A woman who was about to have husband who has been missing for six years declared dead, asks Harrison and Harry to handle it. In court Harry claims that all evidence points to him being dead. The judge was about to declare him dead when he stands up in court. Now his wife doesn't want anything to do with him and demands a divorce, so in turn demands half of her assets, it seems she started her business with funds from his company. Harrison suggests that they settle but Harry thinking that he is extorting her and wondering how he missed him tries to look into it. He goes to see him at his hotel and there are all sorts of paraphernalia and he filches a coin he has. He later calls his wife and asks her to come over so they can talk. A blind woman while having dinner inn a restaurant overhears two men planning a murder. She then informs Harrison about it. Harry who's in the office at the time, offers to investigate. Harry eventually finds thwe two men, and while he's birddogging one of them, someone kills their target. When Harry informs the police, the other one has a solid alibi. So, they are wondering who could have done the killing. When Harry and Harrison and his family reenact the thing in the restaurant, and Harry surmises, it was the waiter. Harry tries to get the waiter but the blind woman inadvertently tells the waiter what she heard, and decides to take her out but Harry arrives in time to save her.

Harry accompanies Harrison and his family on their trip to visit Cyndy's parents. When he gets there, he irritates her father. And when they go to his golf club, they discover the body of the club president. Now the police suspect that it's a robbery but Harry doesn't think so. But Cyndy's father insists that Harry stay out of it. But when the police find the man's wallet and watch buried out in the golf course, the police asks Harry to stay in town till they clear it up. When Harry says that it could take them months to solve it, Cyndy's father tries to help Harry. Harry thinks that the land that the club was going to to buy and use to expand the course is somehow connected. They discover that the land was not safe to be built on but two of the club's members proceed to buy the land on their own.
