Along the way Doug struggles to convince his clients to agree to an all grey palette while Nicole’s flooring plan presents major setbacks. At the end of the four days, the designers’ spaces are judged by Genevieve Gorder, Whitney Robinson, Editor-In-Chief of Elle Decor and celebrity guest judges, designer India Hicks and antique dealer Richard Shapiro. Only one designer will win!

Cool and Edgy designer Megan faces off against bubbly yet competitive Stephanie to design the sleekest version of Mid-Century Modern for their homeowners. Will Megan bite off more than she can chew with her overly ambitious design plan? And will Stephanie's desire to please her homeowners lead her down the wrong path? Design guru and host Genevieve Gorder, Editor-In-Chief of Elle Decor, Whitney Robinson and Fashion maven and designer, Jason Wu will have to make the tough decision to see who has the stronger Mid-Century Modern style.

Bi-coastal designer, Alex faces off against Switzerland transplant Sybille, to see who can create the best Transitional living room. Along the way, Alex keeps a cool head while dealing with his homeowner’s opinions and picky style choices while Sybille encounters a costly construction issue that makes her clients think twice. At the end of four days, the designers’ spaces are judged by Genevieve Gorder, Whitney Robinson, Editor-In Chief of Elle Decor, and guest judge, celebrity designer Jonathan Adler.
