Jeff, Bill and Larry are old pals who work together at Barton Bounty Hunters in the small Southern town of Skeeter Creek. They get their bounties from Lisa, a loudmouth bail bondsman whose office is next door. Jeff is the owner of the company and leader of the team. Bill is the resident criminal profiler, and Larry is the team muscle. Together, they track down redneck fugitives, making Skeeter Creek a little bit safer. The guys will have to deal with friends and family like Jeff's sassy ex-wife Stacy and her smarmy new husband Nathan, as well as local rednecks like Jesco (who just so happens to be Jeff's dad).
Jeff, Bill and Larry cancel a fishing trip so they can catch a pair of fat biker brothers named Jerry and Jimmy McNabb. When they arrest Jimmy, the town turns on them. These fat brothers are cult heroes. Feeling unappreciated, the guys decide to go on their trip anyway and in the process, Jeff realizes he's had it with bounty hunting. When they return, they discover Skeeter Creek in total chaos. Jerry and his gang have taken over the town and demanded the release of Jimmy. The boys chase him into the swamp where his car gets a flat and he flees into the brush. As they get ready to search the swamp for Boudreaux, Jeff discovers there's a baby in the stolen minivan. Day stretches into night, and the challenges of caring for a crying baby and catching Boudreaux test the guys' friendship and ability to work as a team.
