The Winter Ball is one of the most magical times of year in the castle - with its sparkling tree and its gift socks but this year the socks have been eaten by moths, the lake is frozen and so are Zoom-Zoom's wings! But as they play the silly games Zoom-Zoom doesn't win everything, and he makes it rain to spoil everyone else's fun.

Pom and Pom are playing discos - but Dear Dragon can't join in because he can't dance. He gets the steps all muddled up and then even plays the wrong music. Sad and upset, Dear Dragon leaves the Pom's house, where Florrie stays behind to learn the dance.
