Inspector Pletikosić, doubting this theory, asks for help from his friend and former boss, Inspector Tanasijević, who, having left the police, now leads a completely different life. As the disappearance of Novicki represents a serious problem for the state, Prince Pavle orders General Živković to find out as soon as possible what happened to the count. That disappearance also seriously disturbs Maja Davidović, who did not fulfill the task entrusted to her. Mustafa Golubić, protected in his shelter, slowly weaves a web in order to find out what kind of conspiracy is brewing. Everyone sticks to their own interests, alliances are established, but nothing is as it seems at first glance.

Inspector Pletikosić, the current head of the Belgrade Department for Blood and Sexual Crimes, takes over the investigation, with the help of his young assistant Zečević.
