Set sometime in the future, scientists in the city of Coral Harbor have discovered a way to convert the infinite-power of the Morphing Grid into a physical substance called "Morph-X", providing the city with a source of unlimited clean energy. To protect the city, a secret agency known as Grid Battleforce combines Morph-X with animal DNA to create a new team of Power Rangers known as the Beast Morphers. The Beast Morpher Rangers must defend the Morphin Grid from Evox, an evil sentient computer virus that creates evil avatar clones of original Beast Morphers candidates Blaze and Roxy, who have been rendered comatose as a result. After the three of them are transported to the Cyber Dimension, Evox, Cybervillain Blaze, and Cybervillain Roxy gain its de facto ruler Scrozzle as an ally as he helps them in their plan to return Evox to Earth.
The entire city is enraptured in a stunning mural painted by a mystery artist, who the other Rangers realize is Ravi. Ravi refuses to reveal himself as he is still hiding his passion from his mother (Commander Shaw). Nate insists that Ravi should tell the truth to get it over with, but before he can, someone else takes the credit, and the next mural they paint will be on the walls of Grid Battleforce.

RoboBlaze and RoboRoxy then appear and use Kerrys game controller to create a new Robotron capable of creating evil clones of the Rangers. Devon becomes even more conflicted when Kerry approaches the Power Rangers to reveal the existance of a bug in the game which causes it to freeze, which she's been using to win making her not a champ, but a cheat. How will Devon react to the news that he was nearly beaten by a cheater? Note: This marks the 900th episode.
