Alex Montagnani was born Alexander Tanikie-Montagnani on June 12, 1988 in Streatham, South West London, UK and is a professional MMA fighter and actor. Born to parents active in the world of martial arts, he began training in judo and boxing at the age of 4. Due to his physical and athletic capabilities, he took up several other sports such as rugby and athletics. Alex continued his training in judo and later took up Brazilian jiu jitsu at the age of 17, which facilitated his transition into the world of professional MMA. Fighting on some of the most well renowned martial art shows in Europe such as BAMMA and Cage Warriors, he also won the Fury welterweight title. He is exclusively signed with Contenders MMA.
